ISAIAH 61:1-4

ISAIAH 61:1-4

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me and has anointed me to
Preach the good news to the poor. .
Bind up the brokenhearted,
Proclaim freedom for the captives,
Proclaim release from darkness for the prisoners,
Comfort all who mourn
Provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them
BEAUTY FOR ASHES
The oil of gladness for mourning
And a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter

It was a lovely day. I hosted; Christy made that marvelous cake!! Rob made the best scalloped potatoes ever; Neal brought the turkey and ham; Laura made the deviled eggs and yams; I did the fresh asparagus, designed the tables; Bob brought the edible creations centerpiece and set up tables. My grandbabies were with the other Grandmother, but I saw them at church in their Easter dresses. We took pictures there!!
Thank God for a lovely day!

  5. Thanks everyone. Green is my favorite color, Ann. It just GOES with a redhead! Other colors are tricky! And y'll come on over anytime -- my table won't always look like that, but I'll find food!! Sarah, I had it easy. The only food that I actually cooked was asparagus! So my "cooking" time was spent trying to coordinate the table.
