ISAIAH 61:1-4


The Spirit of the Lord is upon me and has anointed me to
Preach the good news to the poor. .
Bind up the brokenhearted,
Proclaim freedom for the captives,
Proclaim release from darkness for the prisoners,
Comfort all who mourn
Provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them
BEAUTY FOR ASHES
The oil of gladness for mourning
And a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness

Back-to-School
Tomorrow I go back to work. I think I'm as ready as I'm going to be. I do get a bit sore and tired after several hours work, but the cure is probably just working. I'll be sure to avoid those giant feet ready to tromp me!

No news about Victor; Marta hasn't called yet today. Maybe later.

Meantime, life goes on. I must get on with lesson plans. The Iditarod awaits us!
